About interfaith initiatives

A brief introduction

Hans Kung once said: 'There will be no peace among nations before there is peace among religions, and no peace among religions before there is dialogue between religions'.

Inter faith initiatives are not an attempt to convert people of one faith into another. Neither are they an attempt to synthesise some new kind of religion by combining "all the best bits from the old ones". They are conducted by people of faith doing something constructive for their community and their world.
