Islam is a divine revealed world faith which means peace and submission. The followers of Islam are known as Muslims. Muslims are nowadays every where. We come from all sort of ethnic backgrounds. A Muslim believes only in one true God the Almighty, the Creator of every thing; that God did send many messengers to guide mankind - that the last messenger is Muhammed (Peace be upon him); and in the concept of life here-after. A Muslim in practice offers regular prayer, keeps fast, pays due to the poor and performs pilgrimage. A Muslim must be honest, truthful and trustworthy. A Muslim must do good deeds and work for the welfare of humanity in co-operation with others. A Muslim leader is known as IMAM.
