INTERFAITH WEEK - 15th November 2009
Michael Henderson
Friend's Meeting house Ship Street Brighton
Friend's Meeting House - 14:30-16:30
By Louis M. Grabsky
Main Speaker - Michael Henderson.
Henderson, author of ten books, will draw on stories from his latest book No Enemy To Conquer - Forgiveness in An Unforgiving World to show that, quite the contrary, forgiveness is a powerful adjunct to community relations, even to diplomacy, and is, as Sir Jonathan Sacks says, 'a stunningly original strategy'. Forgiveness, Henderson points out, is central to all faiths and can be a source of unity between them.
IFCG will co-ordinate with the highly acclaimed World Sacred Music Festival.
